With the temperature dropping by the minute this is having an effect on driving tests. Should you have a test during the current cold weather it is possible that due to the conditions the test will be postponed. This is because the test has to be conducted under normal driving conditions and for you safety, the examiners safety and other road users safety.

If you are therefore thinking of booking your test over the next few weeks, it may be worth thinking about booking afternoon tests as morning tests seem to be the times most affected.

If your looking to pass your theory and practical driving tests, perhaps now is the time to do it. The DSA is currently in consultation to increase the theory test price from £30 to £31 and the practical test price from £56.50 to £62.50 so if you want to avoid the possible extra cost, now is the time to do your test!!
